What happens if you buy a washing machine but never plug it in? Will it do a good job of cleaning your clothes? Of course not! Much like our appliances aren’t helpful if they aren’t plugged in, our life is not going to go well if we are relying on any source other than God Himself. Emotions do not make for a good director! Are we running our race well, or are we stuck in idle? Are we plugging in and relying on God’s Word and the Holy Spirit throughout each day? Is our view of God correct? If we have a personal relationship with our Creator, we’ll find ourselves, our relationships, and, in general, our life revived and flourishing....
