This Could Be Your Life

He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. –Psalm 103:12 NLT

There was once a television show called, “This Is Your Life.” On it, the hosts would surprise their intended guest by bringing in people from their past who would reveal how the guest’s life had touched so many other people. The host would always give them a book filled with memories to show them what a wonderful life they had led. What if someone handed you a book with the story of your life written within it? Inside are all your accomplishments, failures, joys, and sorrows. If you’re like most, you might get a little nervous. Now imagine that same book with everything you’ve ever done written in bold print. Everything written inside is fact, yet all the pages with your blunders are torn out. Anything that was ever negative about your life is gone—as if it never existed. The only remaining writings in the book are the times you loved, gave, forgave, and blessed others. Through grace—God’s unearned, undeserved, unmerited favor—He has removed the condemnation written against you. When you receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, your past, present, and future sins are atoned for. Your name is now written in the “Lamb’s Book of Life” (Revelation 21:27 NKJV). This could be your life; accept Christ today.

prayer focuses

There is no condemnation for those in Christ—your slate is clean.

Praise Him for His amazing grace. No matter your past, your future can be amazing. Let the Father, through Christ, give you a new beginning.
