Does God seem distant from you at times? Often, we pray as if God is far away, when He is actually with us in all situations. In John 14:17 (NIV), Jesus says that the Holy Spirit “lives with you and will be in you,” and in verse 20, Jesus explains, “I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.” If you are a born-again Christian, God is so close to you. He actually lives within you! If God seems distant, it’s not because He moved; it’s because you moved. Without a relationship with Him, you will never know what wonderful surprises God has in store for you. Enjoy being in His presence. He is your Father, and you are His child.
