In Psalm 139:17-18 (GW), King David marvels that God’s thoughts concerning us are “more than there are grains of sand…” How much sand is that? Dr. Jason Marshall, aka the Math Dude, has discovered that there are 700 trillion cubic meters of sand on the earth. That is equivalent to 5 sextillion grains of sand. It is incredible to consider that God’s thoughts about us are even greater! Whether we are asleep or awake, His thoughts and His presence are always with us. He never leaves us, nor does He ever stop thinking about us. He loves us, and He’s listening. So, we must stop allowing our feelings to dictate our faith.
