He Is My Song

The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. –Exodus 15:2 NIV

So many verses in the Bible talk about God being our song and our salvation, including Isaiah 12:2, Psalm 89:1, and Psalm 118:14. The Lord is the giver of our songs. In fact, just knowing that the Lord loves and cares for us should make us want to sing and worship Him! When the joy of the Lord wells up in us, we should sing a song of His grace and mercy, sharing it with the world. In the midst of life's chaos, when God fills us with His peace, we can celebrate His tranquility and sing for joy. And when someone shows kindness and care, let us express our gratitude to God through a song. Knowing God is our song and expressing our love for Him by singing is one of the ways we can show our appreciation to our Lord and Savior. Make a joyful noise unto the Lord and show Him how grateful you are for all He does and will do in your life! Remember, He is the Creator of your joy!
