We live in a world filled with chaos, where right looks wrong and wrong looks right. Falsehoods are elevated. Without a clear picture of truth, we may at times respond with conflicting feelings, emotions, and opinions which leave us both confused and overwhelmed. We wonder what or whom we should believe.

But, as Christians, we must remember that real truth is only found in one place—the Word of God. In fact, the word truth is in the Bible over 200 times. We all need the undeniable, all-consuming stability of the Word of God. We need to grow in knowledge by studying Scripture. That is where we find everything we need. It is where true hope, joy, and peace become active. God is always truthful, and truth is found only in Him.

When we allow ungodly influences to enter our minds, we find ourselves on sinking sand and losing our footing. We become fearful, listening to wrong information that comes from the enemy of our souls. At such times, we need to pray and ask the Lord to lead us back to the truth. He loves us, and in Him we find everything we need.
