So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. –2 Corinthians 3:18 NLT
Is there someone in your life whom you believe to be beyond change? What should our response as the church be? God calls us to show everyone love. We are to set an example for others by our changed life as a result of God’s love for us.God wants us to grow continually through prayer, praise, and studying His Word. Ephesians 5:14 (NLT) says, “For the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, ‘Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.’” If you know someone who has not accepted the gift of salvation, show them God’s love and lead them to the Cross by telling them about your changed life that began by coming to know Christ as your Savior. We are being conformed into the image of Jesus daily. Jesus promised us that when He left this world, He would leave us with another comforter—the Holy Spirit. “I will talk to the Father, and he’ll provide you another Friend so that you will always have someone with you” (John 14:16 MSG).Don’t ever think that you are alone—the Holy Spirit is always with you. The Christian life is fundamentally a changed life. You are being changed into the image of Jesus and that’s the change we all need.
Father, help me show my unsaved family and friends that they are not beyond change.
Jesus loves them no matter what they do. Jesus, thank You that You are the changer. You impart new life to me. Thank You!
