Everyone has dreams for their future. They could include a vacation, a business venture, a college education, marriage, a new home, etc. The dream you are hoping for can become a reality, but it may not necessarily happen in the way you expect, or on the timeline you desire. Some dreams can turn into nightmares. While others may be broken, leaving you feeling devastated. 

What ought you to do when you are disappointed and feel as though your plans and dreams are not going to happen? You have two options: take matters into your own hands, or trust God for your future. He knows the beginning to the end. There may be an outcome that you did not expect, but God did. In time, it will all make sense. You will understand the reason things did not turn out as you had hoped. 

God always has a better plan for you. Don’t try to understand. You cannot see the future. Move forward from your disappointment and trust God to give you hope for the future. Your plans and dreams will be fulfilled with God’s intended perfect outcome when you place your life in His hands. He loves you and wants to direct your future.
