But God hasn’t moved to the mountains; his holy address hasn’t changed. He’s in charge, as always, his eyes taking everything in…. –Psalm 11:4 MSG
If you struggle with change, perhaps this is how you view it:Can’tHandleAll thingsNotGoingExactly the sameWhat if you viewed it like this, instead:Challenges to overcomeHugsAnything goes, but keep your peaceNothing stays the sameGod knowsEverything changesWith any change, there will be challenges to overcome, but you “can do all things through Christ” (Philippians 4:13). There will be hugs—hugs good-bye, hugs hello, and even hugs of comfort. Remember to keep your peace, even during chaos. Nothing stays the same. But God knows—both good and bad—and He’s always by your side, even when everything else changes.Sometimes change is good, like changing socks, jobs, toothbrushes, hair styles, grades, calendars, and cars. Sometimes change is harder, like changing houses, schedules, jobs, schools, and relationships. But in the end, change will become less of a monster when you focus more on God and less on the unknown facets of the change.
Ask God to help you if you are going through a season of change.
Ask the Holy Spirit to enable you to extend grace to yourself, and others, while walking through times of change.
