It is often said that no one likes change. But change is inevitable. Everything around us changes. In addition to the impact from people changing, jobs changing, and children growing; suffering a loss can totally alter our lives. The only constant, the one element that doesn’t change, is God’s love! No matter what trials we face, He does not change. 

We can always rely on the Father, our firm foundation, when struggles overwhelm us. He is the wind beneath our wings. He carries us through and calms the storms. Turbulent times will come, but He never wavers. 

During the storms, we must focus on the Lord, believing and trusting in His Word. We need to take our eyes off our circumstances, and focus on Him. As we press in, keeping Him first in our hearts, we have the assurance that He never takes His eyes off His children. He hears our prayers, and we are safe, even as change occurs. He is our light in a dark world, and He is our hope. These truths will never change!
