Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. –Hebrews 11:1 ESV
We live in a world where endless information is available to us. We find ourselves trying to discern which words are true and which ones are false. Our heads begin to spin, and we wind up so confused. At such times, we need to look to God who knows all things from beginning to end.We serve the one true God, and we need to put our trust in Him. He is the only one with true solutions. God’s Word provides us with a clear picture—not to scare us, but to prepare us. He knows the truths that we should hold on to.Our choices should be based on our faith, not on the confusion created by the world we live in. We can walk in confidence knowing God will be the final answer to everything we question. He is our true hope; and one day, all the conflicting opinions will be silenced. Psalm 119:105 (ESV) tells us, “Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light on my path.” The Lord has given us the Holy Spirit to help us discern truth, clearing up misperceptions that lead to turmoil.Praise God for His promise in John 8:32 (ESV): “…and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Thank You, Jesus, for being my unwavering hope.
Lord, help me to keep my eyes fixed on You, and not on the turbulent waters of this world.
