Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. –Hebrews 10:19-25 NIV
Kids love to play and laugh together. Learning from each other, lifting each other up, dusting each other off, and being filled with the joy of fellowship. Remember having building blocks when you were young? Now, as a child of God, you have been given building blocks of the Spirit through talents and resources. What better way to share the blessings that God has given you than to gather together with other children of our Father and add your blocks to theirs. With Jesus as our Cornerstone, we have the foundation to bring what has been given to us and add to what others have as well.Whether at church, in a group, a one-on-one with a friend, or gathering together with like-minded people, this time with others is not only fulfilling but fruitful in the outcome as Kingdom builders. The Kingdom of God belongs to the children of God. We build and are His church by gathering together. Luke 17:20-21 (NIV) says, “Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, ‘The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, 21 nor will people say, “Here it is,” or “There it is,” because the kingdom of God is in your midst.’”As you continue in your walk today, surround yourself with others and encourage them in their walk. Also, be on the lookout for the one in the crowd who might not know the love of your Father. They like you have the ability to build something amazing. They just might not know it yet. God is so amazing with His divine appointments that the person you encourage might have the one piece or block that everyone in the group might have been missing! As we gather in His presence, we build the Kingdom of our Father!
