Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. –1 Peter 5:7 NLT
Despite all our trials in life, we can stand firm and trust that God is able. He is able to do abundantly more than we can imagine. Even as trials overwhelm us and chaos surrounds us, we can find peace. As John 14:27 (NLT) says, “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
In the midst of our pain, we must not despair. God is right there with us. He knows when we are hurting. He sees what others don’t see. The Lord has the answers for all things, but His ways and timing are not the same as ours.
Faith is believing what we cannot see. One day we will be face-to-face with our Savior. We will understand all things. The verses in Numbers 6:24-26 (NLT) express the desire of God’s heart for His people: “May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” What more do we need?
Pray and ask Jesus to help you to fix your eyes on Him when the trials of life become too painful.
Trust and believe you are never alone, no matter what circumstance you may be facing.
