Today's reading

It will seem like all hell has broken lose--sun, moon, stars, earth, sea, in an uproar and everyone all over the world in a panic, the wind knocked out of them by the threat of doom, the powers-that-be quaking. And then-then-they'll see the Son of Man welcomed in grand style--a glorious welcome! When all this starts to happen, up on your feet. Stand tall with your heads high. Help is on the way! -Luke 21:26-28 MSG

Today we are finding ourselves in a world that we don't even recognize. Not many of us have been through anything like this before, young or old. It would be easy to let fear and uncertainty shipwreck our faith, but the children of God aren't fazed by storms. Never has Luke 21: 26-28 been more appropriate than today.Do you see any defeat in today's Scripture passage? Do you see any reason for us to be afraid or in despair? Do you see anything but a promise that God is still in control and that help is on the way? God has not given us the spirit of fear. Stand up for Christ, help is on the way. Trust Him in all things.

Fear not, focus on God's promises.

The world will shake, but we will triumph. Feed on His Word, not the media.
