In His Beauty

Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth... –1 Chronicles 16:29-30 NKJV

Oh, what a beautiful and majestic Savior we have—full of glory and power, all-knowing and amply providing for us all that we need! He loves us with such unending passion, never losing sight of us. His love is beyond our ability to fully comprehend. He left the riches of glory and the comfort and fullness of Heaven to become a mere mortal here on earth in order to save a world that would later reject Him and slaughter Him. Knowing what was to come, He still came to live among us, dying a horrific death because of His great love for us. He chose the nails and a cross of torture in order for us to have eternal, abundant lives.

So let us give unto the Lord the glory due His name and worship Him in the beauty of holiness. Let us bow down to the King of Kings, Lord Jesus, our beautiful Savior, Lover of our souls. Let us tremble in His holy presence. Hallelujah and Amen.
