In this world, there is no Yellow Brick Road where the path is perfectly clear. Movies can transport us into a make-believe world. But reality is a very different matter. We live in a place where evil reigns. Confusion is everywhere. What we once thought seemed right, now seems wrong. And what once looked wrong is now considered right.The corrupt world we are living in was never intended when God created the earth. Genesis 1:31 (NIV) says, “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.” It was supposed to be a paradise where there would be no death, no pain, nor any suffering. But sin came into the world through Adam and Eve in the garden. As a result, we were separated from God.But, hope came through the sacrifice of Jesus our Lord. As believers, we can look forward to the day when He returns. Everything will be replaced that exists in today’s world, and we will have perfect peace. Isaiah 9:7 (NIV) says, “There will be no end to His rule and His peace, upon the throne of David and over his nation. He will build it to last and keep it strong with what is right and fair and good from that time and forever. The work of the Lord of All will do this.”Let us follow the road that our Lord has laid out for us! Rejoice in the salvation He brings!
