One definition of the word “seek” is “to go in search of.” At times, as you go through difficult situations, you may take your focus off Jesus, resulting in your spiritual eyes growing dim, and you ultimately losing your way. It is at such times, when your heart is so heavy and your mind so full of turmoil and despair, that you feel lost.It is essential when you are going through the raging storms of life that you seek the Lord. Seek His presence, His countenance, and His face with every ounce of your being, with every fiber of your soul. You must come to Him with all humility, laying everything down at the foot of the cross.Do not let yourself get so overwhelmed and overcome by the raging storms that you can’t see your Deliverer, Jesus. He tells you that if you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him. This is a promise! Grab on to it with all your whole heart and see God’s hand rescue you from all of your troubles.
