Day 244: Stomping

And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.–Romans 16:20 NKJV

“You have put all things in subjection under his feet” (Hebrews 2:8 NKJV). Stomping was part of the Romans’ marching formation. The commanders instructed them to lift their feet high, stomp loud, and let everyone know they are coming. Roman soldiers wore shoes that were spiked with nails on the bottom. If someone was foolish enough to challenge them and stand in front of them, they would continue to march over them. The person would be completely obliterated and trampled beyond recognition.Does that sound like something you would love to do when Satan tries to block your way to God. When he gets in your way and tries to obstruct your path, start stomping him. When you are a believer and know Jesus as your savior you can stomp the devil under your feet and continue on your path with Holy Spirit by your side.Jesus has already completely destroyed Satan's power over you through His death and resurrection. Next time Satan challenges you, remind him how defeated he is and start stomping!

prayer focuses

As it says in Luke 10, you have the same authority as Jesus.

Know that Satan is defeated because Jesus paid it all. Rick Renner says," lift your foot and slam it down as hard as you can on top of the devil" knowing Holy Spirit has your back.
