You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. –1 John 4:4 NKJV
What is your relationship to yourself? What are your gifts and strengths? What has God given and invested in you? What are your weaknesses? When God chose you, He knew everything that was wrong with you. Celebrate the good things that God has given you. There is more right than wrong with you! Work on the gifting God has given you. Know who you are in Christ. You are His child. You are who God says you are. You may like yourself but don’t like everything you do. Refuse to ruin the life Jesus died to give you when He gave up everything and went to the Cross. God’s opinion of you is the most important perspective, much more important than what you think of yourself or what others think of you. Your true identity is who God says you are. In the Word, there are numerous verses that tell you who you are in Christ. One such verse is found in 1 John 1:4 (NKJV), “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” God loves you so much. Use the gifts He gave you to honor Him!
You are loved by our amazing God (John 3:16-17).
You are a redeemed child of God (John 1:12).
