When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who watch over my way. In the path where I walk people have hidden a snare for me. –Psalm 142:3 NIV
To recycle means to convert something that had served one purpose into something that serves another purpose—something new, even better, shiny, bright, and ready for service. For example, the Coke can you are drinking out of today could be the can of lima beans you opened six months ago. Someone figured out how to take an old, battered can, melt it down, purify and soften it to the point that it is ready for a new beginning. After the fire, it can be easily remolded into a brand-new usable container.Have poor choices or circumstances of life beaten you up to the point that you feel you are wasted, unusable, and unredeemable? Let God recycle you. Jesus wants you to know that He is the great recycler. Draw near to Him and you’ll see that the fire you thought was your demise only served to purify you, soften you, and get you to the point of surrender. Now He wants to lovingly remold you into a vessel He can continue to use to glorify Him.
Thank God for choosing to recycle all the hard circumstances in your life into what brings Him glory.
