Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens. Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. –Psalm 8:1-2 NIV
Have you ever prayed for God to change a situation? How about praising Him while you wait? There is power in praise. If you praise God, you will triumph over every attack—Psalm 8 confirms that. Praising God annoys Satan.
Today, praise God that the trouble you are facing is going out the door. Praise God that your situation is taken care of by Him. Praise God that your circumstance is resolved because you are a child of the Most High King. Praise God that your problem is gone. Praise Him for setting you free. Praise Him for the blood of Jesus Christ that paid the price for sin and sickness.
Praise Him in the morning, on your way to work, at lunch, in the afternoon, on your way home, in the evening, and before bed. Praise Him when you don’t feel like praising. Praise Him when you don’t have the energy to praise. Praise Him when you’re sick of praising. This is how you shake the world around you. This is how you break away from the chains. This is how you put your faith into action and unleash the awesome, mighty power of the One True Living God!
Heavenly Father, I thank You today for taking care of my problems.
Lord, I thank You for all that You have done for me today as well as yesterday and tomorrow.
