This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. –Joshua 1:9 NLT
We should live our lives being aware of God’s constant presence. We need to trust that God not only knows our every need, but He can help us through all of our trials. God lives in us if we are believers. Deuteronomy 31:6 (NLT) tells us, “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” God will clear the way before us.Philippians 4:6 (NLT) says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” God is always ready to hear from us. Psalm 46:1 (NLT) says, “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.”We face many storms each day that are difficult to understand. But God sees the big picture. We need never face difficulties on our own. The Lord is our help and strength. We must bring everything to the foot of the Cross, remembering God’s past, present, and future promise of faithfulness. He will never leave us, and He promises to always be with us through this life and next. Whatever lies ahead, we can rest in the assurance that we are not alone. Our Lord is with us.
Tell God all that is burdening your heart today.
Thank the Lord for His mercy and compassion as He walks with you through the day.
