YOU WILL OVERCOME

…no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you…. –Isaiah 54:17 NLT

As a Christian, you’ve been adopted into God’s family. You’re a King’s kid, an heir of God, one with Jesus, and given the very life of Christ Himself. You’re seated with Jesus at the right hand of the Father. His Spirit dwells within to fill and empower you. As Christ’s ambassador, you walk in His authority and protection. You are built to overcome. When the devil challenges your identity and your faith, you can’t afford to sit idly by, allowing him to bombard your brain with negative, fear-filled lies. You can’t afford to dabble in doubt or go wading in worry. You have to take action to overcome. It’s what you do with what you know that makes the difference between overcoming or camping out in misery. Know Jesus cares, He’s for you, and He’s already won. Remind yourself of who Jesus is and who you are in Him. Jesus is your Mighty Warrior and Great High Priest, interceding for you—standing with you.Jesus will fight in the unseen realm for you. He is your Deliverer and has promised to rescue you from every assault of evil. Call on Jesus. Keep calling on Him. You will overcome!

prayer focuses

Thank Jesus for His victory.

Ask Him to fight for you and to help you stand strong through every attack of the enemy. Pray for someone who is in a battle. Ask Jesus to give you words to encourage and help that person overcome.
