What exactly does it mean to be sealed with the Holy Spirit? In Jesus’ day, marking something with a seal was used to guarantee security and indicate ownership. In Christ, God has set His mark upon you, impressed you with the seal of His Spirit, to affirm that you belong to Him. He has identified you as His own. The seal of His Spirit provides protection.
