What exactly does it mean to be sealed with the Holy Spirit? In Jesus’ day, marking something with a seal was used to guarantee security and indicate ownership. In Christ, God has set His mark upon you, impressed you with the seal of His Spirit, to affirm that you belong to Him. He has identified you as His own. The seal of His Spirit provides protection. Your new life is now hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). It’s like God is saying that these contents are concealed and protected and not to be tampered with because they belong to Me. Ask the Holy Spirit to remind you of this truth and deepen it in your heart.

Pray for friends who may not know their worth and for the opportunity to encourage them with who they are in Christ.
