Day 365: Let Us Rejoice!

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! –Philippians 4:4 NKJV

Another year has come to an end, and another year has come. So, let us rejoice for all the blessings bestowed upon us this past year by our wonderful Abba in Heaven. However, for some this year may have been filled with pain and sorrow. It could have been an illness, the loss of a loved one, or financial devastation. But please, rest assured my brothers and sisters, my friends, that our heavenly Father has seen your pain and has counted every tear. Our Abba has held you—in the midst of your pain—in the palm of His hands.

So, rejoice! Remember our heavenly Father stays close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Not only does He stay close, but “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3 NKJV).

Let not the enemy take your joy. Let the joy of the Lord be your never ending strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Let us all in joyful unity grab on to this New Year with renewed strength, hope, peace, and joy in the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us not be anxious for anything, but let us stay in prayer and receive the peace that transcends all understanding. Amen!
