And Jesus Came

When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold, a leper came and worshipped Him, saying, “Lord if you are willing, You can make me clean. –Matthew 8:1-2 NKJV

What are you struggling with at this very hour? What is your pain and sorrow? What are your regrets? It matters not what cross you are bearing. Reach out to Jesus, He waits with open arms. He longs for you to call out to Him, so He can pick you up, hold you in His arms, and kiss your brow. When the leper said to Jesus, “If You are willing,” Jesus’ response was, “I am willing.” My beloved friend, when Jesus came, He came to make us whole and complete. He came to bridge the gap between us and our heavenly Father. He came to make us “clean” through the redeeming power of His blood. When Jesus comes, everything changes and nothing is ever the same. There is and never will be any power that will prevail against the King of kings and Lord of lords! There is nothing that is impossible for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So, go ahead, ask Jesus, “Lord, are You willing?” His answer will be, “I am willing My child.”
