Every morning you’ll hear me at it again. Every morning I lay out the pieces of my life on your altar and watch for fire to descend. –Psalm 5:3 MSG
Today’s phrase: …the pieces of my life… Sounds like a life that is shattered, a life in need of repair, a life in need of desperate intervention and divine help. Do you feel that way about your life, daily? Maybe not, but when you do feel that way, do you run to God with it? Psalm 46:1 (NIV) says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Matthew 28:20 (NIV) says, “And surely I am with you always. ”If you’re feeling wrecked and in need of divine intervention, God is waiting, watching, listening. What about those days when you’re not feeling wrecked…do you bring those pieces of your life to Him: work, home, church? Do you realize how desperately you still need God in those moments? Yeah, you know it, but following through may be the challenge. Father, thank You that You are in all my circumstances—the good, wonderful amazing days and the I’m-feeling-wrecked days. Help me to learn to come to You for my every days.
Thank God for being there all the time, always and forever!
Ask Him to help you see your need for Him every day.
