Day 303: Check Your Progress

You were running the race so well. Who has held you back from following the truth? –Galatians 5:7 NLT

FitBit is a popular fitness device that is an effective way to record and track the progress you’re making in your health-conscious goals. Now that nearly one-third of the year has slipped by, it’s the perfect time to pause and check the progress you’ve made in attaining the goals you avowed at the beginning of the year.Whether they were spiritual, physical, emotional, relational, or financial goals, if you’re on target, keep up the good work. If you’ve regressed, realize that God wants you to be victorious in all of your worthy ambitions. Believe it or not, God does all the things the FitBit gadget does and much more! He is your personal Coach. He sees every step you take. He protects you all day long, and even enjoys watching you rest at night. When you keep your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit heading in the healthy direction God intends, you’ll know Him greater, experience more vitality, enjoy fellowship with others, and live within healthy financial boundaries. Ultimately, you’ll be living the abundant life God destined you for.

Author

Barbara Alpert

Barbara was a wife, mother, and grandma who sought to love the LORD with all her heart, soul & strength. She has authored several books for adults and children. She has enjoyed mentoring other writers and seeing them turn their manuscripts into published masterpieces for God's glory. She believed that every person has a God-story within them to be told and shared. Barbara passed away peacefully in November 2023, but Bayside continues to remember and honor her legacy by sharing devotionals written by her in order to inspire and encourage others.
