God promises to give peace when you leave worry behind and trust that He is in control. When you do this, the world can see that you depend upon the Lord, which can in turn give them freedom from the fear that’s been controlling them. Standing firm on God’s sovereignty in the midst of uncertainty tells fear that it has no control over you. Don’t be part of the chaos that the world offers. You may live in the world, but you are not of it when you belong to Christ.There are days filled with struggles and pain; but even in those times, keep your eyes up and pray for God’s strength. Ask the Lord to give you wisdom and discernment. Confusion and fear come from the devil. When you are afraid of what you see happening, the evil one wins in the end. Fix your mind upon the only One who can give you real peace—God. His Word, the Bible, is the only truth to follow. God is the only One who knows the way forward.
