Day 235: Everlasting God

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as Eagles, they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint.-Isaiah 40:31 KJV

Have you experienced a time when you lost all hope and couldn’t imagine going forward in life? During your darkest hour everything appeared to be hopeless and unchangeable. Suddenly, deep within your being, you vision a dim light. As you deeply inhale breaths of hopefulness, the light grows brighter, the darkness gives way, and you experience a Peace that is unthinkable! That, my friend, is God capturing your heart as you fall into His loving arms. In that solace place, He speaks to your heart and says, “I love you. You are special. I am all you need. I desire to give you newness of life that is filled with my joy and peace.”Are you in a dark place right now? If so, Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart and would like for you to invite Him into the situation you are dealing with. God loves you and desires for you to draw close to Him. Will you allow Jesus to be your friend and source of hope?He promises to be there for you. Whatever issue you are facing, bring it to the Lord. As you delight yourself in Him, He will give you the desires of your heart. Be patient as He works things out. Weeping may last for a night, but His Joy can fill you by morning!
