GAIN YOUR SIGHT

"Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized..." Acts 9:18 NIV

Prior to the year of 2020, many were saying this was to be the year of new vision. As we are experiencing the uncertain times of this season, we can look to God's Word, the Bible, to find peace in this pause. Paul lost his vision on the Damascus Road when a blinding light from God stopped him without warning. For a period of time he could not go anywhere because of his blindness, unless he was led around by someone who could see. After this Damascus Road experience, Paul went from being a persecutor of the Church to a believer who was a fervent follower of Jesus. He went on to bring many into the faith and wrote much of the New Testament. Through this unexpected time of interruption, isolation, fear, and uncharted territory, ask God, ”What are You trying to teach me?” God, give us new eyes to navigate where we have not been before. To see things differently. We are now people we didn’t even know we could be. Life is no longer business as usual. So don’t be too hard on yourself, just let God lead; relax and let God be part of every aspect of this new normal.
