The infallible Word of God is the daily guide that will sustain and strengthen us as we continue our journey on this earth with our Savior Jesus. After all, Jesus is the Light of the world (John 8:12).God’s Word will certainly bring us out of the darkness. There are times in our lives when we lose sight of the Savior, and we can get very lost. We get lost in storms that are so ferocious that we feel we are going to sink and never rise above it again. That is when we can reach out to the Word—the Word we have treasured in our heart—the powerful Word that will save us and take us out of that dark place. The Word is a double-edged sword that will cut through spirit and soul (Hebrews 4:12).Friend, reading the Word of God takes us from the darkness and guides us to the path of righteousness. Let’s fill our hearts with the precious, eternal, infallible Word of God and live the victorious life God has created us to live.
