Rejoice and Pray

Rejoice always, pray continually. –1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 NIV

Rejoice always? Even during challenging, uncertain times? YES! You may find it difficult in these trying times to push away the fearful or anxious thoughts that enter your mind. BUT GOD is with you always. He will never leave you nor forsake you (see Deuteronomy 31:6). Claim that biblical promise today and REJOICE!Are you wondering how it is possible to pray continually? God loves you and wants to commune with you all day, every day. Don’t ignore Him. Instead, reach out to Him throughout the day; pour out your heart to Him, asking Him for comfort, provision, and protection. That is what praying continually looks like. Shift your perspective from worry, fear, and anxiety to resting in the peace found only in His presence. In this season, God has made a way for you to turn from your overbooked, stressed-out life to rejoicing and praying continually throughout each day.As you practice praying continually, be open and honest about your need for His presence; His peace will calm your heart, mind, and spirit. Breathe in the peace He offers today and rejoice!
