Is your life filled with a lot of ups and downs or twists and turns? You may feel like you are on a roller coaster and want to get off. One minute your walk with God can be on a high, and the next minute it can be on a low. It is our nature to crave life’s mountaintop experiences. Everyone likes to be soaring high. No one likes to be living low; but regardless of what we do, there will always be ups and downs in our Christian walk. Unlike the amusement park ride, you can stop the cycle of being a roller coaster Christian. Don’t be up and down with God. You may stumble in your everyday life, but let Him lead you. Trust that God is the only refuge to turn toward, even when the ride of life is not perfect. Perfection does not exist here on earth, but you can trust that God has a plan and His plan is for your good. When you feel you have no control over the ride of life, remember that Jesus is sitting right next to you, holding tightly to your hand.
