Day 239: Secured in God’s Hands

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as Eagles, they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint. -Isaiah 40:31 KJV

Over the past year the media has bombarded us with news concerning the upcoming presidential election. Based on what is told, you could easily become overwhelmed and discouraged. However, when you realize that God has everything under control and you’re future is secure in His hands, you can veto the tension that builds up till Election Day.2 Corinthians 5:7 says, “We live by faith not by sight.” You don’t know who the next President will be but God does. He knows the beginning from the end. When you feel the temptation to despair from all the negativity being conveyed, trust that God’s perfect will shall prevail. Remember, the Lord is working all things for His purpose and plan.Be grateful that you have been elected to be part of Christ’s campaign. What is seen and done in the here and now is temporal, but what is yet to come when Christ returns in His full glory will be eternal. When the Lord’s campaign comes to full completion the government will rest upon His shoulders. All things will come into order and peace will reign forever more. There is no better place for you to be than on God’s winning side. Regardless of who is voted in, God has voted you into His supreme residency. Pray that God assigns the best candidate to govern us.

Pray that God would protect our Country and heal the hearts of all people.
