Seeing Christ Through His Creation

Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice! Let the sea and everything in it shout his praise! –Psalm 96:11 NLT

We were not made to run nonstop twenty-four hours a day. We were made to stop and be still and know God. Working, shopping, driving kids to school, and activities fill your life with busyness. It’s like being on a treadmill unable to stop. There are beautiful surroundings when you take the time to draw your heart close to the Creator. His presence is in a gentle breeze, birds chirping, and leaves blowing. Jesus is in the warm sun on your face and the clouds floating by. There is so much in His divine design to remind us of God’s loving care. Make time each day to see His power and greatness revealed in His marvelous creation. Everything that surrounds you is the work of the Father. Psalm 19:1-3 (NLT) tells us, “The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard.” We are blessed by His beauty surrounding us. Take time to savor it.

prayer focuses

Don’t let busyness disconnect you from God’s beautiful creation.

Take time during your day to see all the splendor He created. You will be blessed.
