Small Beginnings

Does anyone dare despise this day of small beginnings? They'll change their tune when they see Zerubbabel setting the last stone in place! –Zechariah 4:10 MSG

Start where you are, use what you have, and be faithful with the task the Lord has given you. “Jesus went on to make these comments: If you're honest in small things, you'll be honest in big things” (Luke 16:10 MSG).Ask the Holy Spirit to help you be a good steward of time, money, and the gifts you’ve been given. Help us, Holy Spirit, to be people God can trust with much and be the best we can be while pleasing You. When you first came to Jesus, He accepted you at that time in your life. You weren’t perfect, and you will never be until you are changed at the second coming of Christ. Jesus gave you His Holy Spirit upon your acceptance of salvation. As you continue on your path to eternity, the Holy Spirit is refining and changing you into the image of Jesus. When you truly love God and desire to please Him and live in a way that brings Him glory, you will grow in God and enjoy His fellowship today and every day. We are all learning to be more and more like Him. Study and pray to apply His truths in your life.

prayer focuses

Be like Mary was in Luke 10:39.

She sat at the Lord’s feet and listened. Ask God to bless your beginning and future walk, knowing that the Holy Spirit will be with you every step of the way.
