Day 37: In His Beauty

Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth... –1 Chronicles 16:29-30 NKJV

Oh, what a beautiful and majestic Savior we have—full of glory and power, all knowing and sufficient for our lives! He loves us with such unending passion; He never loses sight of us. This is so much to comprehend. He left the riches of glory and the comfort and fullness of Heaven, and became a mere man here on earth to save a world that would reject Him and slaughter Him unto death. Knowing what was to come, He still came to earth and died a horrific death, because He loved us so much. He chose the nails and the Cross of torture for us to have life in its abundance. So let us give unto the Lord the glory due His name and worship Him in the beauty of holiness. Let us bow down to the King of kings, Lord Jesus, our beautiful Savior, the Lover of our soul. Let us tremble in His holy presence all the earth. Hallelujah and amen.
