Day 182: Jehovan-Elyon

And blessed be God Most High [Jehova-Elyon], who has delivered your enemies into your hand…. –Genesis 14:20 NKJV

Abram’s nephew, Lot, was taken captive from Sodom and Gomorrah by a massive army of kings. When Abram heard of this, he gathered together his small army of 318 trained servants and overtook that massive army and conquered them with the power given them by the God Most High—Jehovah-Elyon.When the enemy comes against you, do not be fooled for he comes with all the force he has. After all, his mission is to take you down.If you are certain of anything, know—without a doubt—that you are the child of God Most High! Jehovah-Elyon is higher than Heaven and earth; His great mercy is toward those who fear Him. God is majestic and mighty, and everything under Heaven and earth is under His control. There is no other god or power like Him; there is no principality, no army that can fight against the King of all creation.Do not let fear overtake you even when you see your situation take a bad turn. Let us bless Jehovah-Elyon for He has chosen us as children of God Most High; and because He has conquered, so will we stand against the enemy.

God Most High, I pray that Your presence will be all around me as I daily go into battle.

Holy Spirit, I ask that You will empower me at every moment daily to overcome the darts of the enemy.
