Thomas Jefferson wrote: “It is neither wealth nor splendor, but tranquility and occupation, which give happiness. ”The road to happiness can be confusing and bumpy at times. Do you ever wonder what real happiness looks like? Do you think it’s about getting everything you think you want in this world? Or could it be learning about who God is and who you are in Christ? First, learn how much God really loves you through His Word. This will guide you to love Him in return; and then you’ll discover you want to please Him even more and delight in His presence. This can change you from the inside out, and you can start to love others as He loves them. If you doubt what God’s desire is for you, just ask the Holy Spirit. He will show, lead, and guide you. God has already given you so much—you just have to reach out and grab it, for it’s there waiting for you. He loves you so much.
