So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. –1 Thessalonians 5:6 NIV
Christians, wake up! We’re under attack! COVID-19, Masks, Social Distancing Depression, Stress, Anxiety, Fear, Solitude Hate Speech Racism, Police Brutality Riots, Burning Buildings, Lawlessness Political Corruption, Agendas, Media Spin Human Trafficking and Abuse Drugs, Sexual Sin, Alcohol Abuse Abortion, Facing Pregnancy without Support Social Media Censorship Failing Businesses, Joblessness, PovertySatan is busier than ever blocking our sightline to Heaven. We must keep our eyes on the ball and remember our purpose. The enemy lies, kills, and destroys. Christians are being called to awaken from our sleepy, easy lives, put on our full armor of God, and come together as one. The army of God is family. We are called to treat our brothers and sisters with love and kindness.Do not fall to the temptation of the enemy’s lies, he wants us to be divided—fueled with hate and anger. Look to Heaven for answers and strength. This is war, and the battles are many. Fall to your knees and fight with prayer. Fight with kindness in the wake of judgment. Draw your sword and fight with Scripture. Fight with love when faced with hate. The Church is anointed, and it’s time to rise up and win souls for the Kingdom of God!
Pray for God’s grace because our own is not enough.
Pray for healing from bitterness, and for the Holy Spirit to replace it with a stirring of peace.
