Day 165: In Whom Do You Trust?

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. –Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV

We all have people we approach cautiously. You never know what to expect, so you don’t trust that person with anything of an intimate nature. You keep the friendship very superficial.Where there is no trust, there is no relationship. Trust is the glue that holds a relationship together. Do we trust the Lord? Do we trust Him to forgive our past, secure our future, yet fail to trust Him for today? Do we believe that He’s gone to prepare a place for us, but walk in fear that He can’t keep a roof over our heads today?Do we trust Him with the little things of life, or do we trust in our own ability to provide? When we trust in the Lord with all our might, a relationship is guaranteed.

prayer focuses

Examine your heart, who do you really trust?

Ask yourself, is God able to provide? Or are you your source?
