There is nothing more comforting than the voice of the Holy Spirit. We don’t have to figure out this life alone. As believers, God has promised to never leave us but to put His Spirit within us. Ezekiel 36:27 (NASB) says, “I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My Statues….” We have the Holy Spirit with us always. He is not sent to condemn us. He is the speaker of all truth. When we trust Him and seek Jesus, He directs us and comforts us. This could be in the form of a gentle voice speaking with authority, saying either wait, repent, seek, or pray. While you read your Bible, this voice can also be in the form of giving life to the words on the page. The verses become life’s guide map.Be still, worship God, and listen for His voice. He will speak truth to you. Every believer has this promise.
