O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens. –Psalm 8:1 NLT
In Psalm 8:1, the word “majestic” is a superlative adjective, and it means “surpassing all others: Supreme.” Our God has no rivals. He reigns supreme. When we think about all that God has done and all that He is, we can’t help but realize how truly majestic He is. Romans 1:19-20 (NKJV) says, “Because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” Jeremiah 51:15 (NIV) tells us, “He made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.” God has all things under control. He will safely guide you to your eternal home. Jesus left us with His Holy Spirit, and He lives in each one of His disciples.
Focus on your heavenly Father daily.
Give Him the praise and worship He deserves. Being grateful for the beautiful places and things God created, you can’t help but thank Him for all He does and who He is.
