Day 20: Fill My Cup

…my cup overflows. –Psalm 23:5 NIV

How thirsty are you for God? Our bodies subsist by the daily nutrition and hydration we consume. When we lack nutrition and hydration, our bodies suffer. In the same way, our spiritual being will dry up and wither away if we do not nourish and hydrate our soul. The psalmist says in Psalm 42:1 (NIV), “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.” How do we nourish our spirit? How do we hydrate our soul? Simply, my friend, draw yourself to Jesus and spend quality time in His presence. Daily we must nourish our spiritual bodies with the Word of life and drink from the fountain of life—Jesus our Lord and Savior. Let us cry out to our King, “Fill my cup, Lord, until it overflows. When it overflows, Lord, then fill it some more. ”Church, let us all say with every ounce of our being to our Lord and Master, “My heart pants for You, my God.” Do this daily wholeheartedly, and you shall see a parched soul turned into a vibrant powerful soul. Hallelujah and amen.
