Day 55: Running from God

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. –Ezekiel 36:26 NIV

You could be living your life outside God’s will and feel far away from Him, but You can’t run from God. He is always with you. He promises to never leave you or forsake you. If you were the only person on earth, He still would have sent His Son to take your place on Calvary’s Cross. Psalm 139:7-8 (NIV) says, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. ”God knows your words, thoughts, and actions. He meets sin with mercy. Luke 15:4 (NLT) tells you, “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? ”If you feel lost, hold on to the promise of Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV), “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” Don’t run from Him—run to Him !
