What About Your God?

The wicked snub God, their noses stuck high in the air. Their graffiti are scrawled on the walls: “Catch us if you can!” “God is dead.” –Psalm 10:4 MSG

In what kind of god do you believe? The kind the wicked believe in—capricious, callous to the poor, or inept, even incompetent? Or perhaps a god that tells you “If it feels good, do it.”What if the God of the Bible, the One who says He is beginning and end, He is life, He is truth—what if He really is the One true God? Then what? Now, THAT’S a game-changer! If He is who He says He is, He is calling you to radical belief— no namby-pamby stuff for this God, nothing short of everything is what He wants from you. Radical, life-altering, world-changing belief—belief that says, “Nothing is impossible with God.” He has a path and a plan and a purpose for your life. He has glorious things in store for you. He’s calling you to care for the poor, to give up your life, to live with eternity in mind, to live for a love so radical that a life, His Son’s life, was given so you could have a relationship with this kind of God.My God is nothing short of amazing! What about your God?

prayer focuses

Thank the one true God for being an actively-involved-in-your-world God.

Ask Him to show you new ways to live out His radical love.
