This verse in Revelation 21 often takes our thoughts toward those we have lost to death or for other reasons. We begin to reflect on the emptiness that loss has caused. God can remove the tears, the pain, and the sorrow if we let Him. He desires a personal relationship with us, just you and Him. We can’t let sorrow keep us from seeking Him out. Our past and mistakes we’ve made can result in deep personal burdens. Sins we may never confess to others but carry alone can cause great sorrow. Let Him begin to wipe away your tears and heal your sorrows. Allow the deepness of His forgiveness and care to take root. Consider the words of the psalmist, “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us” (Psalm 103:12 NKJV).Today allow His forgiveness to reach into our personal lives and let us be reunited to Him with confidence.
