Your Prayer Room

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. –Matthew 6:6 NKJV

Where is your place to pray? Make sure you are making prayer a priority in your life. Be alone with Almighty God. Your relationship with God is the most important relationship of your life. Your battles are fought on your knees. You must ask God to be part of your problems in life. Prayer is where you get instructions for your day. As it says in Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Seek God’s face (Psalm 27:8). Have a constant internal dialogue with God. What a privilege it is to pray. Jesus prayed for Simon that his faith would not fail (Luke 22:32). One of Jesus’ disciples asked Him to teach them to pray (Luke 11:1-13). And in Hebrews 14:16 you’re instructed to come boldly to the throne of grace that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Prayer is rewarded by your Father in Heaven—start a habit of praying daily, starting today.

prayer focuses

Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

Pray as Daniel did, that the Lord would send an angel in response to your prayers.
